Ah, what an interesting question.... How many hits does your weed actually taste "good" for? If smoking in a bowl....not sure if this could apply to joints, since i don't smoke them.
Example: i load up my bowl with some fresh nuggage, light, and hit. it tastes great (you know, how it's supposed to taste) on the first hit, and maybe some of second, but then the last couple always taste like shit pretty much. is this just the way weed burns? it will never always tastes good.... asking questions like this, i'm pretty sure it's good

I can usually get 4-5 hits before everything is burned and you just get that 'burned' flavor. Although, I'd assume the design of the bowl has more effect than the weed.

you should start smoking joints, the flavour just keeps getting better using them, plus you don't inhale gases from the lighter nor re-burn already burn herb, best flavour ever comes from a well rolled spliff imho, not even bongs compare... or try a vaporizer, those things are great, i don't own one but recently got a chance to smoke using one and man, i'd get one if they weren't so ridiculously expensive.

nobody has mentioned the flushing aspect of it or how it was grown. think that has anything to do with it?

Hello all,
Buahahahaha-just load smaller one hit bowls like in the old days.
I pack my bongs just like I did 30 years ago- one hit at a time.
Everyone gets a flavored green hit.
Not to mention that packing nuggage into bowls and firing it up probably wastes 15-25 percent in just passing it around.
I believe I read a study on the effectiveness of smoking methods and joints were numero uno and bongs were more effective then pipes. As I recall.

Imo if your going for taste the last smoking utensil to grab for is the pipe, and if you must let it be glass as wood and metal pipes impart their own nuance to flavor.
Tasty communal hits are best from a joint like paz said.

To be complete honest.....
I LOVE IT ALL!!!!!
SNAPPERS, VAPORIZERS, BONGS, BOWLS, BLUNTS, JOINTS, BUBBLERS, HOOKAHS, KNIFE HITS, WATERFALLS, GRAVITY BONGS, OH MY!!!!!! 
It all depends what mood I am in and want to be in....I see good things in all methods of inhaling the Herb besides One hitters. I can see how some people would love them, but for me, they get too hot and you suck resin straight in sometimes.....that along with I can never clean them properly, they just never really got my proverbial rocks off...
The Key Point in One-hitters for me, I have a mean tolerance, a ONEHITTER for me would consist of a regular sized bowl to get me properly elevated.
However, the moment I got the Volcano, I was strictly that for at least 2 months, but have recently gone back to the trusty Bong and alternate between that, the Volcano, good ole trusty Vegas, and the occasional joint....
WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT I SAY!!!!
